
TIRANA, January 23/ATA/ – The famous British newspaper “The Guardian” ranks Albania among the 20 countries where adventure travel tourism can be developed, in an article published on its international edition.
“Albania’s star has been rising, with more travelers each year wanting to explore its treasures, such as the Accursed Mountains of the north, and wild beautiful white beaches of the south,” The Guardian writes.
“Wild Frontiers has two new group hiking adventures there, one at each end of the country. On its eight-day package to the south, sunny walks along coastal paths and hinterland mountain trails take the group into the Albanian Riviera, Ottoman towns and Butrint national park,” emphasizes the article.
Among other places The Guardian mentions also Greece, Bulgaria, Azores Islands, Sweden, Mallorca, Great Britain, Cuba, USA, Italy, Spain etc.
In terms of a renowned tourist destination Albania continues to attract attention and curiosity of many foreign tourists and visitors who book touristic travels in different countries in Albania during summer and winter season. Summer season swarms of foreign tourists and visitors interest whose focus is on coastal, mountainous, lake, historic and cultural tourism.
